The Hayter Art Caper is a reimagined fundraiser for arts-based organizations, combining the power of a Silent Auction with a Live-Action Role-Playing Whodunit. The Auction is real, the Game is fiction inspired by fact, and You play a part in the telling of the whodunit while bidding to win the art or other luxurious item you desire from the auction!
This year, 2022, the Caper is benefitting Maxtivity Art and Creative Space in Philomath Oregon. Maxtivity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, providing inclusive access to creative opportunities in Benton and Linn Counties, running a well-equipped arts and crafts space fueled by community-donated arts, crafts, and STEM tools.
Money raised will help pay for equitable access scholarships, educational outreach programs, and community projects. The fundraising goal for is $10,000. /states Executive Director, Louise-Annette Burgess, “These much-needed funds will help Maxtivity focus on under-served populations and communities so that everyone can engage in creative discoveries in Benton and Linn Counties and outlying rural communities.”
